Wande Thomas is the Creative Director of Urbangidi, an African creative media and production company. Keen on the use of storytelling and nuanced human behavior, Wande is an avid believer in African self sufficiency and cultural updating and preservation for the modern day African.
Wande is a TV and Film Director with 2021’s short thriller film Napped starring Timini Egbuson (Best Actor, AMVCA 2020) and Teniola Aladese (Trailblazer, AMVCA 2022). He also Wrote, directed and produced 2020’s hit web series Lara of Lagos starring Teniola Aladese, Tobi Bakre and Bukola Oladipupo. Wande was recently tapped to and Directed the second season of the hit Pan African series Smart Money Woman (Netflix) starring some of the Africa’s brightest stars and scheduled for a 2023 release. He is also the Creative Director of Madeaux Africa (Menisms, Peeker), an African multi platform digital content and podcast network.
