Odiong is the Managing Partner at Ubulu Africa – an innovation management organization. He has over nineteen years of combined experience building, deploying, and managing digital information systems whilst working for multinational organizations like Chevron, Ericsson, Airtel, Huawei and Schlumberger.
Throughout his career, he has led and managed various digital information systems projects and operations; oil and gas strategy and business planning activities; and is currently focused on digital business advisory and innovation management for innovators, startup founders, small and large businesses across several industries.
Odiong is a graduate of Electronic Engineering (BEng) from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria; Engineering Business Management (MSc) from The University of Warwick, United Kingdom; and Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Bradford School of Management, United Kingdom. His doctorate research was focused on Digital Competencies Development, Culture, and Workforce Transformation. He is an associate member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and is very passionate about organizational learning, digital innovation, and international development. As such, he loves to participate in related activities in hopes of influencing people, policy and practice – positively. Odiong is an avid chess player and a landscape photographer.
