Akwa Ibom Tech Week is a premier 2-day conference bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and tech enthusiasts to foster growth, collaboration, and innovation in the technology ecosystem of Akwa Ibom State.
The Organizing Committee invites experienced Event Management firms or professionals to submit proposals for the planning, coordination, and execution of Akwa Ibom Tech Week 2025.
Scope of Work
The Event Manager will be responsible for end-to-end event delivery, including but not limited to:
- Venue selection, setup, and décor
- Audio visual and technical arrangements
- Speaker and guest logistics
- Vendor sourcing and coordination
- Program scheduling and stage management
- Registration and attendee experience management
- Marketing and publicity support
- On-site event coordination and post-event reporting
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale conferences or corporate events (minimum 3 similar projects)
- Strong vendor network and ability to deliver within budget and timeline
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with tech-related events will be an added advantage
