Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Analyst to join our team at the IIN secretariat on a full-time, contract basis. The Project Analyst will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing various ongoing projects, ensuring effective communication, planning, budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the IIN board and volunteers to ensure the successful execution of Akwa Ibom Tech Week 2024 and other IIN activities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage multiple simultaneous projects within the IIN, with a focus on the Akwa Ibom Tech Week 2024.
– Facilitate effective communication between project teams, volunteers, and the IIN board.
– Organize and lead meetings, ensuring all participants are well-informed and aligned on project objectives and timelines.
– Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
– Track project progress and financials, providing regular updates and reports to the IIN board.
– Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues.
– Ensure timely and accurate reporting of project status and outcomes.
– Foster a culture of commitment and accountability among volunteers and project teams.
– Support the IIN secretariat in improving overall project management processes and decision-making.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management or a related role.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in project management tools and software.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial tracking.
Reporting:
The Project Analyst will report to the board of IIN through the secretariat.
